針對「偏遠地區學校教育發展條例」草案，國民黨立法委員柯志恩12日召開座談會，出席的校長多關切偏鄉學校師資缺乏問題，認為政府不該開放請調但書，避免讓偏鄉師資人力缺口更大；同時也有校長建議，應該開放更多元的錄取管道，讓具熱忱的代理、鐘點老師取得教師證，補足偏鄉師資缺口。
柯志恩舉辦「如何從立法層面振興偏鄉教育」座談會，會中邀請包含新北市、新竹市、桃園市、花蓮縣、屏東縣等，10位偏鄉中小學校長一起在會中分享實務經驗。
新北市澳底國小校長李延昌表示，目前偏遠地區的定義限制在交通距離，未來應該把弱勢家庭、教育資源、老師本月折扣人力等多元指標一併列入考慮。
石門國小校長陳月華說，有些偏鄉學校多是長期代理的在地老師，表現非常優良，未來政府可思考增開管道，協助取得有熱忱的教師，取得正式教師資格，解決偏鄉教師人力不足的問題。
新竹縣尖石國中校長彭清宏表示，若是要留住人才，不能單從經濟考量，更要從提供教師幫助、提供加值等方向思考，對在偏鄉服務3年以上者，應給予進修機會，協助盡早拿到教師證。
對於如何提升台灣偏鄉教育，柯志恩表示，針朝野不僅對制定「偏鄉教育法」有高度共識，國民黨也會列為優先法案，在新會期開始之前，希望透過校長們的實務意見，完備修法。

籃網隊華裔球星林書豪昨在開幕戰客場出戰溜馬隊比賽中不慎傷了右膝，經過檢查後證實是髕骨韌帶斷裂，需要進行手術，可以說是整季幾乎報銷，不過林書豪的高人氣跟他在聯盟的好人緣，讓不少前隊友跟NBA各家球星都幫他祈禱。
林書豪是今年球季第二位可能整季報銷的球員，這也是他繼轉隊到籃網後，連續二年球季都受傷缺陣，首場比賽他拿下18分，最後卻黯然退場。
